When he turns 18, Salih leaves the orphanage to learn the truth about his family. He, like many Bosnians, was left to an orphanage after the war. First he learns the place of his mother, Nerma with the pieces of information he learned from the orphanage manager. But he doesn't like what he finds out, because she was raped by a Serbian soldier, Borislav during the war and gave birth to him. As a result of the rape, she became a person who could continue to live with drugs and therefore could not remember her past. She is married to Mirsad, also a war veteran who doesn't know her past, but Mevlüde, his mother knows everything. and keeps as secret. Salih sets off to find his father for both wanting to know him and also wanting to punish him for doing this to his mother. As tension escalates disquieting secrets surface. A gripping tale of family, love and identity, the movie follows Salih as he searches for a trail of hope amongst war-torn lives.
