Marie-Chantal Froidevaux des Chatenets and her cousin are taking the train to Davos, Switzerland for a skiing vacation. While they are sitting at a table in the dining car, a man is seated with them. He has just murdered a man and taken a brooch that is a blue panther head with a pair of ruby eyes. He implores Marie-Chantal to take it from him surreptitiously as her offers her a cigarette. She needs to hide it somewhere safe and keep her eyes open until he can get it back again. She agrees to do so. Suddenly, a bevy of other passengers are intensely interested in her. That is because the ruby eyes actually contain enough deadly virus to wipe-out the entire population of the Earth. As such, it is a great value to Russia and more specifically to a Dr. Kha. Marie-Chantal stitches the jeweled head onto her garters so that it will not be found when her room is searched. At the ski resort, the original thief is hit by a poison dart as he rides the lift to rendezvous with her. His dying comments is to only give it up to a specific person in Morrocco. Marie-Chantal is saved by a journalist, Paco Castillo. Everyone heads for Morrocco. Marie-Chantal is pursued as she tries to find the proper recipient in the Kasbah. Once again, Paco saves her. A relationship is blooming between them as they work together to keep Dr. Kha and the Russians from getting the blue tiger. Marie out-foxes her adversaries by transferring the eyes to a pair of earrings.—Garon Smith
